The tool uses an advanced model trained on millions of documents to assist users in comprehending complex topics. Another feature Opal offers is AI-generated flashcards, a practical means to review content and improve understanding.
With AI-powered active recall, learners can quiz themselves and use the AI to pinpoint and work on weak areas. This also includes an 'Opals' reward system for specific assessments.
Opal aids in tracking performance and offers a hyper-personalized learning experience. Opal also supports organization by allowing users to sort documents based on classes, assignments or categories, and provides in-built semantic search to navigate through documents and folders.
The tool additionally performs usage tracking and supports multilingual documents. Security being paramount, users' documents are stored securely never shared with third parties.
The tool's capabilities also extend to analyzing audio recordings, YouTube videos, and any form of document. Opal uses OpenAI's GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 large language models to perform these tasks.
