Our engineering team takes your comments very seriously and fully agrees that the core issues you've identified are precisely the key product capabilities we need to improve in our next development phase, including: 1. Strictly limiting AI's web search and overly expansive thinking that leads to erroneous content creation when users wish to create slides based solely on their own materials; 2. Unintuitive and even counter-intuitive operational logic; 3. Over-reliance on AI for editing and optimizing all page elements, resulting in token waste and slow editing progress. Meanwhile, users lack sufficient flexibility and ease for quick manual editing. We're committed to addressing these issues in our major version update by the end of this year. Meanwhile, please allow me to share some of our team's original vision for creating this product: Our intention is to develop a presentation tool for professional users—such as business professionals, consultants, analysts across industries, and academic researchers—that can rapidly produce "professional-grade deliverables." Our envisioned user scenarios include: a. Users whom have exceptionally high requirements for structured and visual expression of logical thinking; b. Users whom lack proficient and professional text-to-visual design skills; c. Users whom wish to compress the typically painful 1-2 week deep process work — from having just a business topic or objective, to collecting, organizing and analyzing background materials, forming an outline that meets their field's logical expression standards, to producing the 1st version of a professional-grade slide — down to under 4 hours. Therefore, “simple one-click generation” is not our development direction. Indeed, this vision has also resulted in suboptimal experiences for some users who prioritize high convenience. We hope to engage in more dialogue and exchange with professional users like your, to help us create a better product. Your needs are exactly what we aim to continuously refine and improve!
