Certified Medication Aide

A Certified Medication Aide is a healthcare professional responsible for administering medications to patients in hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes.

They work under the supervision of registered nurses and help patients with medication compliance. They must have a deep understanding of various medications, dosage requirements and be able to receive orders from physicians.

CMA should also be able to document patient progress and report any adverse reactions.
