Civil Structural Engineer

A Civil Structural Engineer is responsible for designing, constructing and maintaining infrastructures such as buildings, bridges, roads and tunnels. They work alongside architects, contractors and other engineers to ensure that the safety and stability of these structures are upheld.

They must have a deep understanding of physics, mathematics and various engineering principles in order to make critical decisions that ensure the safety of the public.
