ARI features a compact social robot design with expressive eyes, light effects, gazing behavior, versatile gestures, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen (1200 × 800) for interactive content. It supports social perception including people detection, speech and intent recognition, multilingual speech synthesis, customizable behaviors, GDPR-compliant data handling, Ubuntu LTS with real-time OS, web-based programming and control, and battery autonomy of approximately 8 to 12 hours for continuous operation in public environments.
