TIAGo features a modular mobile manipulator design with configurable base drive, optional zero, one, or two 7-DoF compliant arms using series elastic actuators, an arm payload of 3 kg (without end-effector), a circular footprint of 54 cm diameter, mounting points on the head, laptop tray, and mobile base, battery autonomy of approximately 4–5 hours with one battery or 8–10 hours with two batteries, Ubuntu LTS with real-time OS, and a ROS-based open-source software stack supporting whole-body control, advanced navigation, grasping, animation, visual programming, and human–robot interaction.
