TALOS is an advanced full-size humanoid research robot designed for high-performance locomotion, manipulation, and whole-body control, enabling cutting-edge research in robotics, AI, and human-centered technologies.

Specs

TALOS is a 1.75 m tall, 95 kg humanoid robot with full torque control enabled by torque sensors in all joints (except head, wrists, and grippers), capable of lifting 6 kg per arm with arms fully extended. It features a high-speed EtherCAT communication network supporting 2 kHz control loops (up to 5 kHz), Ubuntu LTS with real-time OS, customizable head and grippers, battery autonomy of approximately 1.5 hours while walking or 3 hours in standby, and full ROS-based development with open-source simulation models and advanced whole-body control software.
