An article I put in as a test that was written by AI but manipulated a few times and passed other AI detectors scored 99% AI in this app. Pretty huge difference! They way they quote pricing is misleading. They say 1 credit for 100 words BUT that is for AI detection OR plagiarism/readability. If you have both turned on, it is double that. Still a fairly reasonable price but not thrilled with how they quietly slip in a 100% price increase.

I threw an article in Stealgpt to see what it would do and it threw back complete nonsense. This reminds me of those word spinner apps from a few years back that just used a list of synonyms. This was seriously worse. I am an college student that is in for dental assistant position and I just saw this ad on here and I had an essay for a quiz I had to do and literally my professor at the Minnesota university checked it and it was 0 % ai and 100% human. I’d really recommend signing up 🦷🪥

Either I write like AI, or this tool is really bad at telling the difference. I question these detectors, especially when you give them something you know you wrote and they claim it is 80% AI-generated. I tested it by pasting in something I wrote entirely on my own, without using AI. I didn’t even proofread it, just ran a basic spell check, and that was it. The tool still claimed that 80% of it was written by AI. Then it rewrites the supposedly “AI-generated” text using AI, which essentially makes it AI-written. 😆 That’s kind of a weird concept.
