Hongyu Shen🙏 -1 karmaMar 27, 2026@MockoMocko.ai not good for TEF preparation. ⚠️ Broken AI Service & No Customer Support [Update: I successfully got all my money back via bank dispute.] I spent $202.72 on Mocko.ai(purchased in Dec, 2025) for TEF preparation, and it is a total failure. The AI is broken — it marks correct answers as "Wrong" even when they match the audio perfectly. The product does not do what it promises. My Evidence (Screenshots: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1GgneM32b3BEMZd7P82tjxnYgDwV37N2_?usp=sharing): 1. 100% Error Rate: I did 5 random tests. Each time, I answered only the first listening question, recorded the audio, took a screenshot then went to result. Every single time, the AI marked my correct answer as "Wrong." 2. Unable to review any listening question in mock exam: The review page crashed with a coding error: "Something went wrong while showing your report. examContext.Provider is missing!" 3. No Correct Answers Provided: In the listening mock exam, the system flags your answers as "Wrong" but doesn't tell you the correct answers. 4. Inaccurate Grading: I recorded a full listening test in mock exam and converted the audio to text. The AI claimed I got 29 wrong (especially a weird pattern from Q3 to Q14). I compared these with ChatGPT and Gemini, and both confirmed that my answers should be 29 correct and 11 wrong.

I am honestly impressed by the quality of questions generated. Looks better than the other study tools so far.

Smartexam is disappointing compared to other quiz tools. The paid version is more expensive than competitors but lacks key features. It doesn’t adapt to different student skill levels, offers no tutoring support, and you can’t navigate back and forth during quizzes. Also, the answer format makes it too easy to guess the correct choice. Not worth the price.

I like the interface and all the variety of activities but I’ve found the leveling system to be rather inaccurate. I’m in advanced speaker of Korean, and after doing the level test and manually adjusting my level, I still receive activities related to beginner Korean grammar. Overall, I think it’s a great idea, but it might still need some tweaking regarding levels.

“very useful for studying and comprehension.” does a great job of generating relevant questions from books. it’s straightforward to use and has helped me highlight key points and themes. very helpful tool for studying or preparing discussions. the accuracy of the questions is impressive, and it saves time compared to coming up with questions manually. overall, it’s a solid resource for students and readers.

It's interesting. I can see some benefit to adding it to a learning program but I can't see someone chatting all the way through 10 modules of a course. It needs some images, diagrams, visual effects to keep a learner interested.
