Retail Shop A2
Overview
Retail Shop A2 is a GPT designed for bilingual English and Japanese role-play. It is primarily intended to simulate real-life scenarios, specifically within the context of a retail shop.
The main use of this GPT is in language learning and cultural interaction. Through the role-play simulations, users are able to practice English at an A2 level (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), while also receiving explanations in Japanese. In the application, users can participate in various scenes.
For instance, they can take on roles in a conversation at a supermarket where the AI plays the role of the clerk and the user is the customer. In another simulation, the GPT assumes the role of a clerk in a New York souvenir shop with the user playing the part of a tourist.
The conversations are thus designed to portray realistic scenarios that both entertain and educate.Additionally, the GPT includes a unique feature which greets users in Japanese when they log in, further enhancing the language learning experience.
Although it requires a subscription to ChatGPT Plus, its practical applications make it a valuable tool for those interested in learning English through interactive role-playing, or those seeking to understand and practise retail-based dialogues in a multicultural setting.

g k🙏 23 karmaJun 30, 2025@AvatalksThis is hands-down the most engaging language app I’ve ever used. The AI conversations feel real, and the talking avatar makes it fun to practice speaking without anxiety.

I tried a chat section. It's pretty cool, I used another company that's very similar to yours but it didn't recognize speech nearly as well as yours does. The only negative feedback I have for you is the web app seems a little bit buggy on my phone sometimes when you click to hold down for speech it doesn't work very well you have to try it a couple times. I like it though I'm going to try it again.

The app looks interesting, but it's not free. The free version is very limited, and the premium version seems expensive, although it may be worth it.

I have used Praktika and I have loved this app

Useful tool which I’ve enjoyed but it doesn’t notify you of free trial expiring like it said it would, so it just took my money 😅 but I’ll continue using it and see if my languages improve.
