The core transcription works great, and I really love that it gives you proper local Whisper models so you can use it completely offline without any internet. Super useful. I mostly use the custom prompts for emails, like turning my rambling voice notes into clean, pro sounding messages, and it saves me so much time. Pretty much everyone doing this kind of thing probably uses it the same way lol. Only downside is I really hope they bring it to macOS one day. My main desktop is Windows and it runs perfectly there, but my laptop is a Mac and it would be awesome to have the same workflow when I’m working on that machine. Apart from that, I’m loving it. -

Vocode has been a game-changer for our voicebot project! It handles real-time audio streams seamlessly and made integration with our custom ASR and TTS components easy. Can recommend for any voice AI applications!

Their customer service is what saves this. I attempt to use the software, and offered a free trial for a professional voice clone, however one signed up it required me to pay in order to try what was offered as free. I figured I would try it anyways, paid for the software, tried it out. The voices do not offer good emotional quality and sounded extremely robotic. Customer service did offer me a full refund once I explain the situation and how it would not work for my use case. I wish to see further reiterations of this, it has potential, it’s just not there yet.

Also I don't know why it says "no pricing" for this app on here when there's clearly a price. I can't tell if people involved with this kind of shit are dishonest pieces of shit or just really fucking stupid. It takes two seconds to find out this app charges you yet the dumbasses on here obviously didn't take the time out to check so they misleadingly put no pricing. This is the kinda shit that makes me hate people with a burning passion.
