Text Extractor

Text Extractor is a Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT) designed specifically for transcribing text from images. This includes standard text as well as mathematical symbols and equations.
The GPT operates on an image input that the user uploads, it then accurately reads the text embedded in the image, whether it's normal text or complex mathematical equations, and transcribes it into a human-readable format.
The functionality of Text Extractor extends to different formats of images, making the tool versatile in handling various situations where text extraction from images is required.
It is community-built and closely tied to the ChatGPT ecosystem, requiring ChatGPT Plus for accessing its services. Many users can find Text Extractor beneficial, especially in the academic and research fields where data is frequently presented in visual format and the need for converting that data into textual format is common.
Its potential functionality is robust, able to cater to various needs in different fields, beyond just academia. Sign up is necessary to use Text Extractor, and it is most effective when paired with its complementary GPT, ChatGPT Plus.
Text Extractor heavily relies on the Artificial Intelligence infrastructure of pre-trained models to perform its task of accurately reading and transcribing text from images of multiple formats.

AI-powered voice notes for effortless productivity3,02340Released 2y ago100% FreeAbsolutely PERFECT!!! After several image files with multiple fonts and subtleties therein, it never missed a single character. Several files transcribed accurately in less time than it would have taken me to do one manually. I can see myself needing to do this in "batches" possibly and it appears as though I'll be able to do that as well, although I have no idea as to the parameters there, but I'm sure it'll tell ya if you are trying to process too many at once. If I could add one constructive addendum, a line of text on the super clean UI to tell folks the file formats for the input. PNG files uploaded and processed quickly, but only figured that out when I couldn't get a .JPG to upload, but I figured it out quickly ... some may not. Thanks Lexy, It's Sweet to use something in today's world that completes a complex task, yet is simple, and simply works!!! Much love!!! โ "Without ART, the eARTh would just be 'eh'!" แฮ. e

44,880416Released 3y agoNo pricingIt's pretty cool. There is a free plan/membership.That means that you get free 100 image credits every month that will refresh (on the date you created the account, not on every first of month). Seems to have relatively mild filters. Faces of celebs seem to be blocked. You can type in the name of a celeb and it will create a picture but the face will be a fragmented colorful mess. It has a in-painting function and you can enlarge the canvas (both are separate functions that will cost as much credits as the generation of an image. However it is possible to create NSFW images, if you're into that.

14,043154Released 1y agoFree + from $5This definitely has potential. The lack of control over what gets generated is annoying, in particular how it will insert meaningless graphs despite being provided with no data - there needs to be a way of preventing this. However, the fact that you can download the HTML and then edit yourself is a big plus. Unfortunately only having two credits to test it out didn't really give me a chance to find out what it could do.
