Roger Esteves🙏 2 karmaFeb 13, 2024@BooknotesI paid 10.00 and on the same day I cancelled my subscription. After providing me with a summary of a specific book, it also gives me the 10 main quotes from the book. I purchased the book from Kindle, so I tried to match the quotes given by booknotes with the Kindle book, and none of the quotes are on the book. In other words, booknotes created the quotes... If the quotes are fabricated by AI, what else in the summary is also not accurate? I still want to give this site the benefit that they will get it right, but right now, I cannot recommend it as a reliable tool.

We've shipped a major update that turns our PDF summarizer into a full document summarizer. Now more than just PDFs — 14 formats supported You can now summarize far more than PDFs. In addition to PDF, the tool now handles: - Documents & spreadsheets: Word (DOCX), Excel (XLS, XLSX), PowerPoint (PPTX), TXT, Markdown (MD), HTML Images: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP E-books: EPUB, FB2, MOBI Upload almost any file and get the same clear, structured summary with key points in seconds. - New languages Added full localizations for Thai, Korean, and Indonesian, so more users can summarize and read results in their own language. - Bigger files Increased the maximum file size from 10 MB to 50 MB — summarize longer reports, books, and spreadsheets without splitting them. As always: 100% free, no registration, and no usage limits.

Decent if you have a bunch of highlights sitting in your kindle that you never go back to. It pulls them in and groups them by theme which is honestly more useful than I expected. Wish it worked better with PDFs though, that's where I do most of my reading and the import was a bit hit or miss for me. Still gonna keep using it for the kindle stuff.

I'm currently using Speech to Note for multiple purposes like academic research paper making, quick notes recording for development related feedbacks and it's generating supercool responses that exactly matches my requirements, it's the best AI tools in voice space

It seems to be working fine right now. Maybe try again and double check if you’re using the book’s original or most recognized title. That might make a difference.

easy to pick up and you get a few free file imports. it gives you results pretty fast, unfortunately i can't find a way to get back to these, they're locked behind the paid service.
