Gamma's feature that I used the most was image generation - you can select among a variety of models (Ideogram, Flux, DALL-E, but not Midjourney), and it shows 3 variations to choose from. Performance is slow and a little janky, even in Chrome. Prompts and settings are often not respected - e.g. you set it to "preserve text" and just generate slides, and it goes onto dumping an entire 3 paragraphs of text in one slide. You can't overlay text over images (e.g. for image attribution), and there's no precise positioning control, or grouping elements. No way to control table layout, e.g. to have two images slide-by-side in full bleed mode. I tried Gamma for a new presentation, but next time I need to make a presentation, I'll go back to Google Slides and generate images independently.

4,66164Released 11mo agoFree + from $9.99/moFor some problems, it does a good job of calculations and video explanation. However, for some, the drawings are not correct, and it left out a part of the calculation in the video (although it does calculate correctly at least). This would be confusing. An example was where I asked it to calculate the area of a circle inside of a right-angle triangle. It drew the circle outside of the triangle, and then in the calculation, it did not have the square root of a^2 b^2 to find c, but at least did that. If the tool is to be effective, it needs to be clear and accurate in order to not create further misconceptions.

You only get one question to test it out and the quality of the info you get in that one message is too lackluster to warrant going back for more, especially if you're into astrology and already know basic stuff. The aesthetic is fine. Some of the buttons are inexplicably disabled and the tooltips conflict with one another on the map, making it irritating to try to interact with the lines rendered on the map. -
