Excellent to read news, articles, essays, and any nonfiction books. BTW, computers should be allowed to TALK to us for free, like in the Star Trek TV series. Our future grandchildren will laugh at us for "paying" to use this everyday option, biting the hook to "monthly subscriptions" like gullible fish and then getting up to 1,000 words per month" under the so-called Pro version ;-) This is crazy!

As tempting as it is, why pay for it if Google AI Studio (https://aistudio.google.com/generate-speech) offers the same for free? Nothing beats "gratis!" Besides, which author can afford so many monthly payments if he or she is not Steven King, who'd rather buy a whole studio with a dozen professional human narrators? ;-) THX

Not that good, and horrible in non-english TTS. Also, transcribing some text takes a lot more time than whisper

It never works, not even with the ginormous API key! Computers should be allowed to TALK to us for free, like in the Star Trek TV series. I like that the ai support many languages the only disadvantage is that the free version is limited and the paid version is also high $8 per month!!

This Site gets a high spot on google search results (Top 10) by advertising a free and efficient sound effects generator. What they dont tell you is you cannot download or use these sounds in any way without buying a subscription.
