Honestly SurfSense is amazing, I use it almost every morning to get an mp3/podcast of my Gmail, Gcal and urgent Linear tickets so I know exactly what's going on that day. It's also insane for board games because I just throw the rulebooks in and share it with my friends so we can chat with the AI together to figure out how to play. And it is scarily good at untangling and explaining really complex rules when we encounter some weird situation! -

Since there is no feedback possibility on the site, I will leave my comments here. 1. when I put a search term between "" I expect the results to precisely contain this phase, not ...or... 2. the e-mails are called "news summary" so the items should be empty when there is nothing new. Instead, I keep receiving the same search results over and over again. Searching by Google is less time-consuming. 3. there is a 1-day trial period (!) but by the time I discovered the above (day 2) I was hooked for a month. So, de facto, there is no trial period.

OpenI tested the product on my own idea and was really satisfied with the result. The analysis feels structured, professional, and much more grounded than a typical LLM chat. It helped me see both the strengths and weak points of the idea and made me want to run it again with a more thoughtful input. Good idea, very mediocre execution. Not there yet. Contextual search is a complete joke, task generation from emails do not recognise taks owners (if I ask someone to do something or if someone asks me to do something). Useless at this stage. Will revisit it in an year, hopefully with some money form YC they can develop the product.

I went on their website, it is not a chatting AI. It is a much worse version of ChatGPT. About all you can do is ask it questions, you can't have a conversation with it. It's pricing is horrible, too. As a free user you get 10 free messages total. You can also pay $9.99/month and get up to 20 messages per 24-hour period. The only plus this AI has over ChatGPT is that it can be used while offline.
