Verdict
Overview
Verdict is a digital tool designed to optimise the process of candidate selection. It compares prospective candidates on six evidence-based dimensions: Capability, Track Record, Trajectory, Influence, Domain Edge, and Risk Surface.
Each dimension is scored from 1 to 5, totaling a maximum of 30. Verdict functions by taking the user's job description and comparing it with 2 to 50 CVs in PDFs, resulting in a ranked shortlist or head-to-head comparison.
To support fairness, scoring disregards personal data such as names, gender, and age - following an identity-blind approach. Verdict requires CV citations as evidence for each claim to prevent baseless assertions.
In addition to these measures, it also provides insights into potential overqualification or retention-risk factors, with recommendations on areas to probe during an interview.
Verdict also allows for the export of a branded PDF of the hiring verdict for record keeping or sharing. It also provides an audit-grade defensibility report detailing the hiring decisions and their rationale.
Furthermore, it offers an optimization feature, the JD Optimizer, which checks the job description for ambiguities and over-specifications before recommending a revision.
A distinctive feature of Verdict is the ability to revise the decision post-interview by uploading interview transcripts or notes for re-evaluation, ensuring that the final decision holds up after the interview process.
