I spent a few days on the free plan testing Melody Genie to draft verses and choruses in different artist styles, and it nailed the vocabulary and flow more often than not. bro i fed it a chord progression i'd been sitting on for months and it just... finished the song. like not perfectly but enough that i could actually hear what it wanted to be. the vocals it generates are still a little uncanny valley depending on the genre but for sketching ideas fast it's replaced my voice memos completely. my actual bandmates are annoyed at how many demos i'm sending now

Terrible, first of all the audio quality, I asked for brass, in purpose, the timbre was absolutely sythntectic, the supposed Tuba was hilariously low, then it did not follow boundary conditions (Use only this instruments), I would do the task 30 times faster. Pointless

We've since added a new model called Omni 1 that handles instrument-specific generation much better, including brass instruments like tuba. It's also significantly better at following boundary conditions (e.g. "use only this instrument"). Would love for you to give it another try and let us know how it compares. Despite decent generation, this service's user support is simply terrible!!! ((( I wanted to test the Premier plan and switched to it from the Pro plan, which I had paid for one year. As a result, my credits were written off, half the features are blocked, and I can't go back. I've already emailed support about 10 times, but haven't received a response yet. Terrible experience. Spent over $200 to produce a music video that Musid.ai was never able to complete. System crashed during the final production generation/rendering - over and over and over. Contacted [email protected] - no response whatsoever after 2 days. Don't touch it! UPDATE: minutes after posting this Musid.ai responded by reinstating all of the credits purchased. Doesn't compensate for the wasted time but better that a poke in the eye with a sharp stick! I'll review again once I get to the other side of this drama...

Also, misspelled song name in one of the renderings, and a couple were particularly crappy. But I bought a bunch of coins and will be back to check on the app's progress.
