You can generate 50,000 characters using generic Microsoft voices which are available also within any ReadAloud/Read out Loud apps. However, these voices lack emotion, but you can generate 5,000 characters with emotion per generation for free. Firstly, you have to select a voice, preview it, and then select it - paste your text or write it down and after a few minutes, you can listen and download it for free. However, the website's reviews are likely fake, suggesting that this free service might not last long.

There are hundreds of programs like that for FREE, so why pay for TSS, if Internet add-ons can do it totally gratis and with "humanlike" voices? I don't get it ;-(

OMG! One of the worst "terms of use" i have ever seen. Basicly They we own your a**. They have every right for your creations on their platform. They can use your creations as however, whenever, whereever they want. Plus if you make money from a creation from their platform, you will end up giving them. Because they are saying you cannot do anything commercially that you have created on their platform unless you made a special agreement on paper.

Really bad platform. You have to give a credit card to test it. The quality is really bad and you are forced to use one of their own voices to generate a video. I also uploaded a picture of me and the platform distorted it. Not recomended

The maximum podcast duration is 10 minutes only. Whereas, with NotebookLM, the maximum is 35 minutes, and it's free. They need to increase the duration of the podcasts to at least 30 minutes. Also, definitely more than 200 minutes a month.

They deceive - they advertise functionalities that turn out to be in the Pro version, which again has to be purchased. For some languages, the voices are quite old and sound robotic.

The concept behind this application is incredibly intriguing. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of accuracy achieved in creating my digital replica. What truly amazed me was the ability to engage in conversations with my digital counterpart. It's a delightful and entertaining experience. Furthermore, witnessing the advancements in artificial intelligence through Vana is truly remarkable. Who would have thought that we'd be able to converse with a digital replica of ourselves, complete with our voice and image? Great AI voices, though still monotonous and robotic, or rather too neutral, with almost zero voice inflections! Excellent to read news, articles, essays, and any nonfiction books. BTW, computers should be allowed to TALK to us for free, like in the Star Trek TV series. Our future grandchildren will laugh at us for "paying" to use this everyday option, biting the hook to "monthly subscriptions" like gullible fish and then getting up to 1,000 words per month" under the so-called Pro version ;-) This is crazy!
