Harman🙏 55 karmaApr 29, 2025@CollateI’ve been using Collate to go through technical PDFs, and it’s been surprisingly handy. Summarizing docs and being able to ask questions directly saves me time, especially when I’m skimming through research or API references. No sign-ups, works offline, and everything stays on my device — which I appreciate.

1,45229Released 1y ago100% FreeReally simple approach - you select the part of the page you want the summary to be inserted, add a question to the article or it just sticks to the prompt you defined (even the standard prompt is a fun inspiration - never thought about letting the AI read an article from the angle of my professional background or let it build fun analogies for even the darkest articles). I use it to send articles from website directly to my Kindle - so you can basically read AI summarized articles on Kindle. Of course it could be extended but with the basic features it does the job.

9,24589Released 1y ago100% FreeThis is the first slide creator I found that actually creates an outline, and nice looking slides with images. The one negative/con is it takes yoursubject and title and generates an outline, but it doesn't allow you to put in your own outline

1,92330Released 1y agoFree + from $49I like it. It answers simple questions accurately and by the book. The Ref (reference) page is not usually accurate though. I'll keep you updated on how it responds to complex questions.

9477Released 2y agoNo pricingFirst week is free (hence 3 stars when it would have been 1 otherwise) then you have to pay £81 / year or £9 / month which for a light or occasional user is very expensive. There really needs to be a sensible ’document limit’ to back up the very good trial period.
