At last, "FREE & UNLIMITED," for now! However, what they listed as "multi-emotional" is SO monotonous and banal that it's bad even for reading boring science papers and online news ;-) As for the "good voices," we have to "pay-pay-pay till the end of days!" The question is, why should we PAY for what was created for the whole of humanity to use for FREE and released as an Open Source? Computers should be allowed to TALK to us GRATIS, like in the Star Trek TV series. Our future grandchildren will laugh at us for "paying" to use this everyday option, biting the hook to "monthly subscriptions" like gullible fish, and then getting "up to 1,000 words per month" under the so-called Pro version. tried a bunch of voices, loads quick, outputs are solid enough for placeholders, ad-libs, little drops. free-tier vibes are there (limits/naggy bits), but it's easy to jam with. would love deeper knobs (emotion, timing, batch export), still a slick tool to tinker with when you're bored that might sneak into production later

The voice and emotion sounds natural and nuanced. so full points for that. The UX refreshes every time I download a file, so it doesn't remember my previous voice settings and switches back to default. Sometimes the voices of the same character vary slightly, so a little more voice consistency would be great, but it may not be noticable. All in all it's a great free tool. The best out there.

It’s listed as unlimited, but there is a 10 times a day limit on it. So if you plan on doing even a short novella using this app, it’s going to take a long time since it’s 5,000 characters per use. Other than the incorrect advertising, this app is a good one to have in your collection.

I couldn't find the capacity to upload an entire document, only for an excel document but not for text. This means copying and pasting your entire book from a word document. Would be better to be able to upload the entire document in word or pdf.
