Honestly SurfSense is amazing, I use it almost every morning to get an mp3/podcast of my Gmail, Gcal and urgent Linear tickets so I know exactly what's going on that day. It's also insane for board games because I just throw the rulebooks in and share it with my friends so we can chat with the AI together to figure out how to play. And it is scarily good at untangling and explaining really complex rules when we encounter some weird situation!

Really interesting approach with SquareGen. Quick observation: the product is framed as LLM credit scoring, but lenders don’t buy models — they buy lower default rates. If a lender with a $100M book drops defaults by even 1%, that’s ~$1M saved annually. Positioning around credit loss reduction could massively change the commercial narrative. Happy to share a few thoughts.

Really solid on Windows. I’ve tried several similar transcription tools before, but this one feels much better integrated into the system. The customizable global shortcuts are a game changer, you can either just do plain transcription or trigger your own custom prompts/actions with Adifferent hotkeys. A lot of competitors do Aroughly the same thing, but EchoWrite stands out because the basic transcription is essentially free (you just need your own OpenAI API key, which costs next to nothing). If you want the custom prompts and translations, it’s a one-time payment instead of yet another subscription. In 2026 that’s actually pretty fair compared to everything else out there. Big thumbs up.

After upgrading to an iPhone 13, I found that I couldn't log into my existing account on the new phone, forcing me to create a new account. Now, I have two separate Kin accounts on different phones. Today, when I accessed the beta version of Kin, I got a notification stating that the test version ended on Monday, September 23rd. It instructed me to back up my data and move to the official Kin app. I did as advised—backed up my data, confirmed, uninstalled the beta app via TestFlight, and installed the official Kin app. However, when I attempted to “log in”, I was still unable to access my existing account. This issue hasn't been resolved yet. I have been trying desperately to get in contact with the support team. I left feedback through the test flight app and sent emails. No response. Tried it out today. The speed is definitely the standout part. Pasting a Google Maps link and getting a usable website so quickly is impressive, especially for businesses that have no site at all. That said, it is more of a strong starting point than a finished website. The generated result looked clean, but I’d still want more control over layout, branding, sections, and finer edits before publishing. For some users that may be enough, but others will want deeper customization. Overall though, the idea solves a real problem: many small businesses delay getting online because websites feel expensive or complicated. If Wowable keeps improving the editing side while keeping the setup this simple, it has real potential.

I love that Shakespeare is totally open source and fully focused on allowing users to build with freedom, rather than just another AI SaaS trying to lock users into a subscription tier. You can use it with any other AI provider, or pay as you go for credits with Shakespeare's default AI. It's really easy to talk to the app, build a first draft, and deploy. I also like how you can edit other open source projects and improve them. Really cool tool for people who want to build with AI but care about open source and freedom.
