Timeship🙏 65 karmaOct 19, 2025@SpeechmaGreat AI voices, though still monotonous and robotic, or rather too neutral, with almost zero voice inflections! Excellent to read news, articles, essays, and any nonfiction books. BTW, computers should be allowed to TALK to us for free, like in the Star Trek TV series. Our future grandchildren will laugh at us for "paying" to use this everyday option, biting the hook to "monthly subscriptions" like gullible fish and then getting up to 1,000 words per month" under the so-called Pro version ;-) This is crazy!

Transform your voice instantly with AI.Openwell this sparked my interest! having parents with hearing aids, maybe this'll help them fine tune what they hear. i for one was impressed on how sensitive it was on picking up voices and how clear they sounded without the noise

Useful tool which I’ve enjoyed but it doesn’t notify you of free trial expiring like it said it would, so it just took my money 😅 but I’ll continue using it and see if my languages improve.

When uploading a 30-minute video file, I was surprised to receive the transcript in just a few seconds. The speed and quality of the transcription process blew me away, especially considering the complexity of the video content.

If you are in the Mac world, this is great. Versions for iOS, macOS, and ipadOS. Turn it on and let it listen (record). When done, let it transcribe. Incredibly accurate. Transcribed a 30 minute Zoom meeting by setting the iPhone on the desk. Took around 10 minutes to transcribe but the results were great. Note that everything is done on the device. Nothing is sent to the cloud. And it is free!

They deceive - they advertise functionalities that turn out to be in the Pro version, which again has to be purchased. For some languages, the voices are quite old and sound robotic.

I'm the CEO of Eden AI and I'm a bit biased :) All I can say is that it's a great platform, you should give it a try!

Slax Note is extremely user - friendly. Even the elderly can use it. One - click recording is so simple. The whole process, from recording to sharing, is a breeze.

Great transcription and text-to-speech API. Much cheaper than OpenAI/Elevenlabs and very easy to use.

I like that the ai support many languages the only disadvantage is that the free version is limited and the paid version is also high $8 per month!!

I have been using this app for a month on a laptop with just 4GB of VRAM, and it has been performing exceptionally well. Surprisingly, it's the only available option for local voice recognition that operates without an internet connection. The developer is actively making continuous improvements, enhancing the program's functionalities progressively. I strongly recommend it.

Vocode has been a game-changer for our voicebot project! It handles real-time audio streams seamlessly and made integration with our custom ASR and TTS components easy. Can recommend for any voice AI applications!
