As a student, I regularly work with research papers and long PDFs. PodcastorAI has been a helpful way to turn that content into something I can listen to while commuting or walking. I like that it creates a structured podcast rather than simply reading the text aloud. The dialogue format is surprisingly engaging and makes dense material easier to get through. I still rely on the original documents for deeper study, but for review and knowledge retention, it's been a genuinely useful tool. -

I built Forevi after trying to restore my own family photos, especially for my grandpa. He doesn’t really care about physical gifts anymore, but he does care about memories: his youth, his family, the small things that mattered to him. Every tool I tried either changed faces, added fake filters, or made everything look overly smooth. So I built a full restoration workflow: restore → colorize → enhance/upscale → animate → add sound. The goal is to help people bring old moments back to life and create new memories from old photos. Would love your feedback on what feels right, what doesn’t, and how I can improve the tool. The maximum podcast duration is 10 minutes only. Whereas, with NotebookLM, the maximum is 35 minutes, and it's free. They need to increase the duration of the podcasts to at least 30 minutes. Also, definitely more than 200 minutes a month.

As tempting as it is, why pay for it if Google AI Studio (https://aistudio.google.com/generate-speech) offers the same for free? Nothing beats "gratis!" Besides, which author can afford so many monthly payments if he or she is not Steven King, who'd rather buy a whole studio with a dozen professional human narrators? ;-) THX

We built this for us, and if other people want to use it, so be it, but I’m not going to try and sell on why one should use or buy it. Judging by the sign-ups and upgrades, it looks like more people are finding it useful. You are right about #1 and that line does sound a bit dishonest and salesy - which was unintentional so I’m changing that. It was very real though and we carefully baked in tiny little details for our upgraded users. For eg, we have invited most of our upgraded users to try the mobile apps’ TestFlight version.

Callfluent is NOT ready for commercial use. I signed up, followed their tutorials to a tee, and could not get voice bot to work. The bot would hallucinate about dates, and would actually argue with me about days dates. I tried to connect with their support, and kept getting the same replies -- to not use the web based calling feature. I was actually calling by phone to test the bot. Support is TONE DEAF. I sent call recordings, transcriptions, and detailed list of issues by email. They kept repeating the same answers... almost as if they use their own garbage AI for tech support. I requested a ZOOM call with their "onboarding specialist" and was given access to a calendar, with the soonest appointment 8 days away. I requested a sooner appointment and the specialist started offering me times IN THE PAST. Again, I think they use their own AI for support or scheduling. I would stay away from this product. Not very good at all. Avoid at all costs if you wish to have a successful AI chat and voice bot.
