Working great as of 30/11/2024. Let me tell you why I'm so happy about this, because I was desperate: - Firecrawl.dev? Inconsistent API documentation. Apify scrapers? Couldn't work on my target URL. - I spent $150 over 4-5 OTHER tools before finding this one, which is free to use locally right now. Wow. I'm dumb. - My target URL was a broken site, with 500 javascript errors, content violations, bad cookies, etc. - Not a single scraper worked that I tried, except for this one. Honestly SurfSense is amazing, I use it almost every morning to get an mp3/podcast of my Gmail, Gcal and urgent Linear tickets so I know exactly what's going on that day. It's also insane for board games because I just throw the rulebooks in and share it with my friends so we can chat with the AI together to figure out how to play. And it is scarily good at untangling and explaining really complex rules when we encounter some weird situation!

Still surprised these guys haven't made a full release yet, its already has a lot of features than I thought it would - I personally use their hostedgpt for organizing my threads the interface is much better than chatgpt but they didnt add a settings features to it yet - for chatbot building its fully flesh-out couldnt have choosen a better service!

So many SaaS offerings need rethought to be AI/agent first. And the new thinking really start with the simplicity and appropriate costs needed for the "user" being an agent. tny.dev is really a master class in this new thought process. If you need link shortening, it's completely solved here. I've been using it with Claude Desktop, and Claude just "gets" this MCP server, and its free at the relatively infrequent rate I use it. The analytics are awesome and simple to understand. They are the key feature for me.

Since there is no feedback possibility on the site, I will leave my comments here. 1. when I put a search term between "" I expect the results to precisely contain this phase, not ...or... 2. the e-mails are called "news summary" so the items should be empty when there is nothing new. Instead, I keep receiving the same search results over and over again. Searching by Google is less time-consuming. 3. there is a 1-day trial period (!) but by the time I discovered the above (day 2) I was hooked for a month. So, de facto, there is no trial period.

I've used it for personal finance transaction categorisation to sort out my bank statements transactions before import to Quicken. It has been amazing so far and today is just day 1!
