Open25,43477Released 1y agoFree + from $12I played around with PodScribe.IO for just 5 minutes, and it helped me save at least 35 minutes when transcribing my first podcast (for free - have not subscribed to the paid version yet). That's pretty sweet! The way it presents and separates podcast data into different formats is really well done. It makes it super easy to find what you're looking for. -

I love the different features such as the summary, quiz, and chapters. It does a great job of them. I've only done one transcript so far to try it out, but I'm truly impressed and am going to grab another code. A couple things that would make it even better are: - the ability to rename the files and organize them through folders. - the ability to download a copy of the other features as well as the transcript. 2,49610Released 2y agoFrom $49I couldn't really use it because it was more of an extension of ChatGPT. It asked for the API key, making it clear it wasn't an independent summarization tool. I feel like I could just go into ChatGPT and do the exact same thing. I'm looking for an independent platform focused on automatically summarizing and note-taking for students, but this seems more like an add-on rather than a standalone solution.

Judging by the sign-ups and upgrades, it looks like more people are finding it useful. You are right about #1 and that line does sound a bit dishonest and salesy - which was unintentional so I’m changing that. It was very real though and we carefully baked in tiny little details for our upgraded users. For eg, we have invited most of our upgraded users to try the mobile apps’ TestFlight version.

I can just throw in pdfs, voice memos or youtube videos, and it'll generate all type oof different format like summaries, mind maps or flashcards. Extremely useful for students and professionals as it digest lengthy materials into small chunks of text. Recommended for anyone looking for a no-frills note taker tool
