If it's mounted on top, it's way to high, if it's below the screen, it's way to low. I've also tried boom arms and other gadgets to put the cam in the middle of the screen, however, while it's a good temporary solution, it's blocking my screen and instead of looking at the person, i'm watching my cam... Casablanca is a great alternative and while it was glitchy at 1st, it is now stable and a great alternative that just works. Not sure why Google, Zoom and others haven't implemented this option OOTB. Way to go Casablanca! -

I built Forevi after trying to restore my own family photos, especially for my grandpa. He doesn’t really care about physical gifts anymore, but he does care about memories: his youth, his family, the small things that mattered to him. Every tool I tried either changed faces, added fake filters, or made everything look overly smooth. So I built a full restoration workflow: restore → colorize → enhance/upscale → animate → add sound. The goal is to help people bring old moments back to life and create new memories from old photos. Would love your feedback on what feels right, what doesn’t, and how I can improve the tool. Love this concept — especially the emphasis on NVC and bias awareness. I’ve been trying out a tool called TheMediator.AI that actually reaches out to the other party and guides both sides through a structured AI-led mediation. It’s more “hands-on” in the resolution process, whereas this feels more like a solo clarity tool. Both seem super helpful, just in different ways.
