I think Slidely is the only tool that has worked for me when creating my client presentations. The presentations aren't web pages or images like the other tools but actual PowerPoint slides which I really like.

It can get better. The content is good, but once you add your logo and it adapts to your branding, all the slides end up looking the same. Only the text changes. The editing still feels rough and pretty slow. But it has huge potential. I’ll keep an eye on it.

Free version does not output file as PPT filetype. Limited to only 5 slides in the output file in the free version. Not clear if it takes markdown (.md) file format as input - I suspect it does not. Limited (pre-built) color / thematic options, unless you are willing to create and upload your own color palette, themes, and templates.

Horribly slow, and horribly confused. I chose OKKslides because I *had* to construct a presentation in .PPT format, and this was pretty much the only AI tool that would output a PPT file. I gave OKKslides a markdown file of my presentation - the pitch deck for a startup - with all 10 slides precisely outlined, the themes clearly defined, and markdown annotations for the font size and type completed. And then I uploaded the supporting documents and references that OKKslides asked for in order to "make the presentation more detailed." Pretty sophisticated, I thought, thinking all that extra work would pay off perhaps, but at least suffice. But OKKslides STILL took it **upon itself** to go scrape the internet and find information about a different company - misspelling the startup's name in the process - and retrieving information relevant to a *completey different industry*, overwrite some of the content, and then incorporate these "improvements" into my presentation. It made the simple job WAY more complicated than it needed to be, and then charged me tokens for this "feature". Oh - and the text / slide editor? Completely counter-intuitive and with limited functionality. I wouldn't be surprised if they charged me tokens for trying to correct spelling and spacing mistakes as well. (For instance, put a space in between the title words, wouldya?) Could it be any more frustrating? My advice: Avoid PowerPoint. And avoid OKKslides, unless you ABSOLUTELY need to use PowerPoint. Even then use it for design ideas, perhaps. I hesitate to recommend this AI tool to anyone.

What situation are we even talking about? The outputs are unusable, so it’s basically garbage. Try making something serious, like about cosmology or even just anything around you, and see if it can even produce a decent illustration—you’ll thank me later for the wake-up call. Try other serious topics that need accurate, precise illustrations, and you’ll quickly realize this tool is just hallucinating. It’s basically a toy, don’t overhype it or think it’s some amazing tool. Scammy? Definitely. I’ve heard from other users too (Reddit and here) about the pricing—Gamma raised the monthly fees and screwed over old subscribers, but the quality didn’t improve at all. What do you call that? And don’t get me started on customer service. That lady Ana? Super annoying and sounds like a robot. Is she even human? She’s way too confident about how great the tool is and all its “improvements.” Seriously, man, it’s just a toy. Try making something serious with illustrations again. This tool isn’t just bad, it’s also way overhyped and honestly dangerous for making educational content.

At first, Gamma looks really powerful and cool, but once you start creating illustrations for your content, it falls flat. For educational stuff, the AI-generated illustrations are basically useless—total garbage. Gamma does offer tools to search for images and illustrations, but honestly, I can just Google them myself. The paid AI illustration features are a joke and full of hallucinations. Gamma’s layout features are pretty strong, but that’s actually kind of a downside too. The final results end up looking a lot like PowerPoint or Google Slides presentations. But when you present, they don’t act like slides at all—more like basic webpages where you just scroll through the content. My take? Nope. For that kind of subscription price, you’d be better off with Gemini, Grok, Blackbox, or some other AI that actually performs way better. Paying that much just for layout? Big no from me.

ppt.ai has saved me at least 80% of the time spent on making PPTs. I just need to submit rough ideas or drafts to ppt.ai, and it can create a relatively usable PPT. This is simply amazing! Although some revisions and optimizations are still needed afterward, it’s already a huge relief compared to starting from scratch.

App looks and feels very familiar, its intuitive and you can make ur presentation and see if you like the tool or not , you get hit by paywall when you click export, so you have to make the decision after you have used the tool. 4/5 good app.(images repeat sometimes.)
