Hey this is Tan, I'm the creator of NotesBot. I created this tool because I needed it for my own meetings. After using myself and getting great summarization reviews from my peers, I decided to release it to the public. After release, we realized people were also using it for Dungeons and Dragons, I then added a DnD mode. This tool is non-invasive, very easy to set up, and perfect for meetings. For example, if your teacher gave you an assignment in a PDF file, you wouldn't be able to use it. Until it enables that feature, it's not very useful for students. However, it is useful if you're incorporating audio.

Transcribe audio and video in 100+ languages effortlesslyOpen9,848102Released 2y agoFree + from $15/moFast - probably the fastest tool I've tried for transcribing from an uploaded MP3. Accuracy was good. My samples was a ~30 min university lecture recorded alone (recorded with a mic and laptop, not in a lecture hall). Only complaint is that the logical sectioning or paragraphing isn't great. (It's hard to do with these stream-of-consciousness type lectures, but some tools do a great job.) If I didn't need the logical breaks, I'd likely come back to this tool solely for the speed and accuracy. Great job! -

7,63986Released 2y agoFrom $20/moIf you are in the Mac world, this is great. Versions for iOS, macOS, and ipadOS. Turn it on and let it listen (record). When done, let it transcribe. Incredibly accurate. Transcribed a 30 minute Zoom meeting by setting the iPhone on the desk. Took around 10 minutes to transcribe but the results were great. Note that everything is done on the device. Nothing is sent to the cloud. And it is free!
