Thundroid AI does have potential as a companion, and it’s clear the creators have put effort into making it accessible on iOS. The design feels decent for a mobile-first approach, which could be useful for some users. The big drawback is that there’s no web app. Limiting access to iOS only feels restrictive, especially when competitors like Character AI and Ash AI are both easily available across multiple platforms and deliver a fuller, more flexible experience. For a space as competitive as AI companionship, accessibility is key, and Thundroid AI falls short right out of the gate. If the developers want to compete with the industry benchmarks, they’ll need to expand availability beyond just iOS and give users more freedom in how they interact with the AI. Until then, it’s hard to recommend over tools that already offer a broader, richer, and more practical experience.

Aitherapy has been a great help for me as due to my injuries from an accident I can't drive. The great thing is the 24/7 availability coz I can't get much sleep and having Aitherapy there at 3am to talk to has been very helpful. What I also like about Aitherapy is the approach, instead of telling me things what I should do and etc. I get asked "how can you improve *****?" which gets me thinking and coming up with the correct thing. Doing it in that way Aitherapy has helped me to figure out and understand many things that I did not before!! I would recommend Aitherapy to anyone needing any kind of mental health support! The concept is great! The simplicity of the UI is making it more appealing. From my peronal opinion, I'd recommend a little bit of customization such as dark\light mode, and assigning a name for the LLM. Also, adding voice will be a great feature

I’m working a pretty stressful job, and I’ve been using Aitherapy before meetings to get my mind right. It helps me breathe, slow down, and stop second-guessing myself. Very good for my spiraling sessions But I need the mobile app. I love this thing, but I’m tired of pulling it up in a browser tab. The support is real. The advice actually helps. Just please hurry with the app it would make this so much easier.

I've been using Deepwander as one tool to get me through a difficult time in my relationship and it has been immensely effective. This kind of guided introspection feels very well-grounded, since it doesn't attempt to provide solutions but rather nudges you in the direction of finding them for yourself. Its analysis feels apt and very constructive, well-founded in the thought process that led you there. It also provides some psychological keywords that one can look up to gain a greater understanding of the concepts behind the analysis. This is an absolute powerhouse at breaking through self-destructive / dark spirals and finding oneself calmer and more happy at the end.

I've encountered an issue, and the GitHub page for opening issues is broken, there is also no proper ToS, wich left me to try to comment it here for the chance it might be read, The AI was great.. for 2 sessions, after that it just doesn't remember any sessions, also contradicting itself saying it is able to retain the info (this is also in the About section), then when asked "what do i need to do for you to retain this info?" it just gives the generic "i'm a language model, i dont rember, i forgor, how u feelin?" I just want to be able to reach out to the dev to see what i can do to fix it. This AI is amazing and really good at what it does, would certainly keep using it were the issue fixed.

Hey it's the creator here. Thanks for the comment. Try the GitHub issue again. People have opened issues on the repo in the past with no problems, and I haven't touched that functionality. If you have more problems, feel free to reply to this message. Anyways, the AI won't remember all conversations, only ones that are added to your journal (2$ journal entries). If you want this function, I highly recommend you get ChatGPT Plus where you can use MindMateGPT on the GPT Store (alongside a bunch of other cool GPTs). In the GPT Store, you can talk to the same MindMateGPT and keep a record of ~300 pages worth of conversation. This version of MindMateGPT has all the functionality of mindmategpt.com, just with a different interface. Hope that helps!

For clarification, neither me or my browser (Opera GX) are wiping the cookies of this website, and when i say "it doesn't remember any sessions" i mean ANY sessions, even recent, i close the tab, it forgets everything. And i know it is able to remember since on the second session, Mindy asked "How have you been feeling after the last session" meaning it is capable of remembering, and the About section also confirms it.

This website is really helpful, saves so much money compared to getting therapy with an actual therapist. Of course, mindy wouldnt replace a human therapist if I had very serious issues, but for everyday things like needing someone to talk to abt my boyfriend or room-mate, mindy is great! Also, mindy is avaialable for me 24/7, and her response time is very fast!
