Currently, the website provides free text-to-speech (TTS) with emotions without requiring registration. You can generate 50,000 characters using generic Microsoft voices which are available also within any ReadAloud/Read out Loud apps. However, these voices lack emotion, but you can generate 5,000 characters with emotion per generation for free. Firstly, you have to select a voice, preview it, and then select it - paste your text or write it down and after a few minutes, you can listen and download it for free. However, the website's reviews are likely fake, suggesting that this free service might not last long.

Vocallab AI is honestly the easiest tool I’ve ever used. The interface is super simple and intuitive. Generations take less than 2 seconds. The quality is also incredible. The voices sound very realistic — almost like real people. Not a very good experience. There are a lot of screenshots of what is supposed to happen when you record or upload audio, but the functionality is very clunky. I had to upload the same audio file 5 times before it appeared in the dashboard. The experience is even worse on a mobile phone. So I am still looking for a quick audio to text AI tool and one that I can get the transcription in multiple languages.

I use Coolo to remove bass from the song. By isolating the bass track, I can hear every single note and nuance. It’s also been great for making backing tracks to practice my guitar solos over. Very nice!!

OpenI played around with PodScribe.IO for just 5 minutes, and it helped me save at least 35 minutes when transcribing my first podcast (for free - have not subscribed to the paid version yet). That's pretty sweet! The way it presents and separates podcast data into different formats is really well done. It makes it super easy to find what you're looking for. -
The maximum podcast duration is 10 minutes only. Whereas, with NotebookLM, the maximum is 35 minutes, and it's free. They need to increase the duration of the podcasts to at least 30 minutes. Also, definitely more than 200 minutes a month.

No free use because I use a VPN?? I'm out. I should have a choice to stay private if I want to and still be able to review the product without penalty. Others allow it - I will use them before buying. If you have that big of an issue with what you feel are multiple accounts using your free services, then reduce the amount of free use.
