This started from a small frustration that wouldn't go away: I'd open 12 tabs for "research," skim none of them properly, and close my laptop feeling more behind than when I started. The web rewards reading speed, not reading depth — and I wanted a tool that flipped that. So I built GetTheGists: a Chrome extension that gives you the gist of any page in 3 seconds, then lets you ask follow-up questions like you would a smart friend who already read it. A few things we went out of our way to get right: - Cognitive hierarchy, not walls of text. Every summary is structured as Gist → Why It Matters → Key Takeaways → Implications. Compression before precision. - Ask, don't just read. Hit the page with follow-ups, get answers grounded in the content. - 20 languages, full dark mode, and a resizable side panel that actually respects your screen. What surprised me building this: the hardest part wasn't the AI — it was deciding what not to show. Every iteration was about removing a section, not adding one. Thank you for the review. I increased the speed of site generation (takes 1 minute to generate 3 versions). The workflow is much better now as well. Adding more templates is the next thing on my plate.

They recently changed to a “point based system” where free users get 3000 daily point. Subscribers get 100,000,000 points monthly plus the 3000 daily. Each model has a wide range of costs. Some are cheap and some are more expensive. There is no longer unlimited messages for subscribers. It has since sparked an outrage among the community with many ending their subscriptions and moving away from Poe.

An AI that can present slides! I used to only use AI that could create PowerPoint presentations, but this is the first time I've encountered an AI that can present slides for me! I hope it will provide even more help with my work in the future.

Since discovering this tool in January 2024, my workflow as an entrepreneur, educator, and content creator has undergone a complete transformation, becoming far more efficient. With a total of +13,617 snippets used, I have managed to save +3,811 hours of work that were previously spent on repetitive and tedious tasks. Its ability to combine web scraping features with AI Blaze instructions makes it far superior and more user-friendly compared to other technical alternatives. This system has truly become a bridge for me to stop worrying about exhausting operational details and shift my focus entirely to things that are essential in my career. Although the features that currently exist are already very solid and comprehensive, I see a great opportunity for improvement if AI Blaze supported open-source models like DeepSeek or GLM. Giving users the option to add external API keys independently would be an amazing update that provides unlimited flexibility for users. Overall, this is the best productivity solution that continues to provide exceptional value to my community even after two years of active use.
