cecilia cerri🙏 4 karmaJan 12, 2025@PSY - AI TherapistsThe initial free version does not allow for starting a conversation that has already concluded. I asked the GPT if it would remember information about me or if I would be a "new person" for it in each session, and it said that each session is new. This is very discouraging because it is not possible to have a complete conversation.

Mentalyc has been a very useful addition to my workflow as a mental health provider. Writing therapy progress notes used to take a significant amount of time after each session, but using Mentalyc to generate structured drafts from session recordings has helped reduce that burden. The notes it generates are organized and clinically meaningful, especially in formats like SOAP and DAP. It highlights important elements such as presenting issues, interventions, and client engagement, which makes it easier to review and finalize documentation efficiently. I also appreciate that it supports staying compliant with documentation standards while reducing mental load and burnout related to admin tasks. It doesn’t replace clinical judgment, but it does make the documentation process smoother and more consistent. For therapists looking for an AI-powered note writing assistant, Mentalyc is definitely worth exploring.

It is very good. i have being using for one year and something , its very knowlegedble and helped me to improve my mood when my depression attacked me and the best part is that it doesnt stay in the fucking chitchat of normal psychologist it gives you practical actions for you to do to improve your selfsteem , because theraphy that only talks doesnt work , must have some action something to do . it does have a leftists tendencies so i wouldnt recommend to vent about sensitive topics like red pill with it , but aside from the is very good.
