Echother is exactly what I was looking for to speed up our meetings. While other tools trap you in $X/month subscriptions for basic transcription, echother does something different, it connects your meeting discussions to your actual codebase and generates Jira tickets with real context. The repo-aware ticket generation cut our sprint refinement time in half because we stopped re-explaining everything. Instead of transcribing the audio (which would violate our privacy policy), the AI is an on-demand agent powered by GPT-4o. You toggle modes like 'Roast' or 'Spicy', and it generates context-aware conversation cards to save the date if things get awkward. Good idea, very mediocre execution. Not there yet. Contextual search is a complete joke, task generation from emails do not recognise taks owners (if I ask someone to do something or if someone asks me to do something). Useless at this stage. Will revisit it in an year, hopefully with some money form YC they can develop the product.

Total waste of time: Advertises $19/month, but with AI, it actually starts at $149/month. Spent an hour struggling with an unfriendly platform just to figure this out.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I downloaded the extension to my chrome browser and then highlighted my email copy and then clicked on the extension link but there is no button to provide updated copy.

Looks good, needs some polishing. pixelised logos, typing errors in the billing plans. Otherwise the rest looks neat so far. I have a few concerns regarding the safety of sharing my company data on the website for example so something should be covering that. And also I would instantly pay for this service if it had a Ganttchart (with drag and drop) and WBS feature

Either I write like AI, or this tool is really bad at telling the difference. I question these detectors, especially when you give them something you know you wrote and they claim it is 80% AI-generated. I tested it by pasting in something I wrote entirely on my own, without using AI. I didnโt even proofread it, just ran a basic spell check, and that was it. The tool still claimed that 80% of it was written by AI. Then it rewrites the supposedly โAI-generatedโ text using AI, which essentially makes it AI-written. ๐ Thatโs kind of a weird concept.
