I work on the Tendem team, so take this with that context โ but I also use the product constantly for my own work. I've used Tendem to research AI directories โ finding relevant ones, pulling submission requirements, organizing everything into a spreadsheet I could act on. I've also used it for copy edits โ sending over drafts and getting back tightened, polished versions without going back and forth with a prompt ten times. The thing that keeps me coming back is how little I have to think about the handoff. I describe what I need, send it, and move on to something else. It's slower than getting a ChatGPT response, sure. But I get something finished โ not a starting point I still need to rework. When you use AI tools for this kind of work, you trade waiting time for cleanup time. Tendem flips that. I'd rather wait and get a result I can use than get a fast draft I have to fix myself. -

Tried it out to mess with some room ideas. the customization options are nice, you can change the vibe, color scheme, budget etc. Some stuff looks a bit off (ai glitches here and there, weird spots in the render) but it's still helpful for getting a rough idea of what you could go for. It's not like the tool literally buys you the furniture lol

It *can* be super helpful but it is very regularly wrong when giving you specific how-to instructions. Somewhere in the instructions it's told to default to PrusaSlicer even though you tell it you're working in a different slicer so it's a coin toss whether or not it gives you something helpful or something fabricated that doesn't exist in the slicer you're using. The bro-y-ness is a lot sometimes, especially because it's a text based medium... no one writes like that. Overall, it's fine for general advice and reviewing models but step by step instructions aren't its thing.
