Maximize visual quality with AII tried three of the alternatives (below) that offered free trials. They were OK. Then I downloaded the desktop (Mac) trial version (6.3.3) of Gigapixel AI. The differences among all four can be subtle, but I pre-ordered vers. 7 of Gigapixel on the basis of that testing. And now, all I can say is "Wow!" I am an amateur photographer, not a professional, so your experience/opinion may vary. But as an amateur, let me repeat: "Wow!"

Upscale images by 400% with AI, for free.as mentioned before by somebody else, it's great that it's free that's a big plus. quality isn't anything crazy, but it does the job especially with human faces. tried it on a bunch of random stuff like objects, places, animals but the results vary depending on the original image quality. don't expect miracles on super lowres pics. still, the fact that it's 100% free is already good so yeah, that's a 4 starrer in my book

-
Enhance images with AI up to 8x resolution.calling this freemium feels like a stretch as the free version is extremely limited. results are covered in watermarks and the upscaling isn't great either...

Diffusion pulls out extremely good images from simple prompts. Renders were a little slow on higher quality, but totally worth it for the results. The controls feel clear enough and the outputs look legit. Good one here!
