Oliver Boyers🛠️ 1 tool 🙏 17 karmaFeb 13, 2025@Wispr FlowThis is one of those apps that when you use it for the first time, it feels like magic. It is one of the apps that has led to me using it the most every day. It's almost as integral to me now as ChatGPT. -

Honestly SurfSense is amazing, I use it almost every morning to get an mp3/podcast of my Gmail, Gcal and urgent Linear tickets so I know exactly what's going on that day. It's also insane for board games because I just throw the rulebooks in and share it with my friends so we can chat with the AI together to figure out how to play. And it is scarily good at untangling and explaining really complex rules when we encounter some weird situation! -

OpenI built Vocova to solve a simple problem — people consume content across languages and platforms every day, but turning that content into accurate, readable text is still painfully fragmented. You need one tool to download, another to transcribe, another to translate. It should be one step. We build Vocova the way you'd build a piece of art — every detail is intentional. How natural the speaker labels read, how precisely timestamps align with every word, how a bilingual export looks like a polished document rather than a raw data dump. We don't ship anything that we wouldn't be proud to put our name on. Vocova supports 100+ languages, imports from 1,000+ platforms, and translates into 145+ languages. Try it and let me know what you think — your feedback directly shapes what we build next.

Privacy-first & designed your for mind, and life at workOpenI joined Kin's beta program on my iPhone XR. After upgrading to an iPhone 13, I found that I couldn't log into my existing account on the new phone, forcing me to create a new account. Now, I have two separate Kin accounts on different phones. Today, when I accessed the beta version of Kin, I got a notification stating that the test version ended on Monday, September 23rd. It instructed me to back up my data and move to the official Kin app. I did as advised—backed up my data, confirmed, uninstalled the beta app via TestFlight, and installed the official Kin app. However, when I attempted to “log in”, I was still unable to access my existing account. This issue hasn't been resolved yet. I have been trying desperately to get in contact with the support team. I left feedback through the test flight app and sent emails. No response. Now trying to find a forums, Reddit posts, TAAFT comments☻

This is awesome. It tells me the answers to my practice exam questions automatically through my airpods without me having to do anything, just by seeing my exam through my phone camera. I've been looking for an AI tool like this for a while.

So, how is it "100% FREE" if there is "PRICING" involved? Did I awake in an alternate universe where "red" is "green" on the traffic light and "free" means "free after you pay?" ;-)

Single subscription access to all latest models

Looks promising. I hope the pricing will be within affordable range
-
The maximum podcast duration is 10 minutes only. Whereas, with NotebookLM, the maximum is 35 minutes, and it's free. They need to increase the duration of the podcasts to at least 30 minutes. Also, definitely more than 200 minutes a month.

Freepik is an all in one editing and content creation suite. It features ai and stock images and videos. I honestly love them so much. I use them daily and customer service support is quick and efficient. Highly recommend.

As tempting as it is, why pay for it if Google AI Studio (https://aistudio.google.com/generate-speech) offers the same for free? Nothing beats "gratis!" Besides, which author can afford so many monthly payments if he or she is not Steven King, who'd rather buy a whole studio with a dozen professional human narrators? ;-) THX
-
absolutely! our product has no relationship with Google at all!
-
As soon as I log in, I see a screen asking me to pay for two different types of subscriptions. There is no X to close the pop-up.

I just started using Hoody AI, and it's quite amazing in every aspect! What stands out immediately is their focus on privacy. They offer anonymous payments, IP and fingerprint protection, encrypted instances, anonymous usage. You can tell they addressed privacy concerns around AI very seriously. I love that my chat history cannot be traced to me in any way. Their interface is user-friendly and provides unlimited access to the most popular AI models like Claude 3.5 Sonnet, GPT-4 mini, Llama 3.1 405B, etc..., and the cool thing is, they can all be used at the same time! Most AI features are included: file uploads, voice interaction, text-to-speech, and so on. In short, another excellent AI discovery thanks to TAAFT!
-
This one is by far the most realistic, some of the voices feel so real it's actually scary.

Here it says "NO pricing," yet online, there is a "hidden" subscription plan? https://www.minimax.io/audio/subscribe - No wonder the media calls 2026 "The Age of Greed!" ;-( FYI, there are 100% FREE Open-Source TTS and Voice Cloners, so why should we pay to be tricked? I don't get it!
-
-
Great AI voices, though still monotonous and robotic, or rather too neutral, with almost zero voice inflections! Excellent to read news, articles, essays, and any nonfiction books. BTW, computers should be allowed to TALK to us for free, like in the Star Trek TV series. Our future grandchildren will laugh at us for "paying" to use this everyday option, biting the hook to "monthly subscriptions" like gullible fish and then getting up to 1,000 words per month" under the so-called Pro version ;-) This is crazy!
-
Great, but it offers ONLY Indian accents of English (no UK/US/AU or International English), and NO pricing visible anywhere. At the same time, there are millions of 100% FREE Open-Source expressive TTS solutions that offer 100s of languages! ;-) THX
-
-
You're right, looks like there's no premium plan available right now, so it's free but with some limits. Hopefully they'll add more options in the future.
-
Currently, the website provides free text-to-speech (TTS) with emotions without requiring registration. You can generate 50,000 characters using generic Microsoft voices which are available also within any ReadAloud/Read out Loud apps. However, these voices lack emotion, but you can generate 5,000 characters with emotion per generation for free. Firstly, you have to select a voice, preview it, and then select it - paste your text or write it down and after a few minutes, you can listen and download it for free. However, the website's reviews are likely fake, suggesting that this free service might not last long.

Easy to use but no accent support for Singapore English

A reaaly good AI, though not completely free, when register will still give you a good word limit, and there's a lot of voices from almost every language.

Sounds better than any other tool I've tried for TTS, and the Public Library concept is really smart. Sweet tool!

There is no way to tell how good this AI Text to MP3 service is without paying up front. Maybe it's good, maybe it's not.

It never works, not even with the ginormous API key! Computers should be allowed to TALK to us for free, like in the Star Trek TV series. Our future grandchildren will laugh at us for "paying" to use this everyday option, biting the hook to "monthly subscriptions" like gullible fish, and then getting "up to 1,000 words per month" under the so-called Pro version. There are hundreds of programs like that for FREE, so why pay for TSS, if Internet add-ons can do it totally gratis and with "humanlike" voices? I don't get it ;-(

They deceive - they advertise functionalities that turn out to be in the Pro version, which again has to be purchased. For some languages, the voices are quite old and sound robotic.

I didn't get to the voices. I don't give my credit card information up front. I clicked away as soon as I saw that. It's a shame too, the pricing structure looked great.

I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

This was a helpful tool for what I needed to get done. The audio sounds pretty human, but could improve a bit more on the pronunciation. A useful tool overall

They were really good: good quality at a cheap price But have since been largely overtaken by overpriced competitors like ElevenLabs, I hope they can make a comeback and democratize it again!

Easy to use. If you select Trump's voice, type Epsteen rather than Epstein. Pronunciation is perfect hehe.

ListenHub takes notebookLM to the next level, providing the unique ability to clone your voice for AI podcast production.

UI is chill, export is fine. Free credits disappear fast if you experiment. 3/5 for now, nothing extremely special :j

Can't see the PRICING page anywhere unless I make an account. OK, but why PAY for it if Google AI Studio (https://aistudio.google.com/generate-speech) offers the same for free? Nothing beats "gratis!" Besides, which author can afford so many monthly payments if he or she is not Steven King, who'd rather buy a whole studio with a dozen professional human narrators? ;-) THX
-
Their customer service is what saves this. I attempt to use the software, and offered a free trial for a professional voice clone, however one signed up it required me to pay in order to try what was offered as free. I figured I would try it anyways, paid for the software, tried it out. The voices do not offer good emotional quality and sounded extremely robotic. Customer service did offer me a full refund once I explain the situation and how it would not work for my use case. I wish to see further reiterations of this, it has potential, it’s just not there yet.
-
So far, I love it! I added a caller to the podcast and referred to them as a 'female caller,' but it was actually a male. That was the only issue. Also, I wish the podcast could be a bit longer, but all in all, I love this!"

-
As good as it sounds, it offers NO free voice clone test, unlike millions of other apps and services that do so at NO cost, and some even 100% Open-Source, free forever.

I am using PreCallAI for outbound calls and got awesome response, latency is very low and easy to start immediately.
