After upgrading to an iPhone 13, I found that I couldn't log into my existing account on the new phone, forcing me to create a new account. Now, I have two separate Kin accounts on different phones. Today, when I accessed the beta version of Kin, I got a notification stating that the test version ended on Monday, September 23rd. It instructed me to back up my data and move to the official Kin app. I did as advised—backed up my data, confirmed, uninstalled the beta app via TestFlight, and installed the official Kin app. However, when I attempted to “log in”, I was still unable to access my existing account. This issue hasn't been resolved yet. I have been trying desperately to get in contact with the support team. I left feedback through the test flight app and sent emails. No response. Now trying to find a forums, Reddit posts, TAAFT comments☻ -

They offer anonymous payments, IP and fingerprint protection, encrypted instances, anonymous usage. You can tell they addressed privacy concerns around AI very seriously. I love that my chat history cannot be traced to me in any way. Their interface is user-friendly and provides unlimited access to the most popular AI models like Claude 3.5 Sonnet, GPT-4 mini, Llama 3.1 405B, etc..., and the cool thing is, they can all be used at the same time! However, these voices lack emotion, but you can generate 5,000 characters with emotion per generation for free. Firstly, you have to select a voice, preview it, and then select it - paste your text or write it down and after a few minutes, you can listen and download it for free. However, the website's reviews are likely fake, suggesting that this free service might not last long.

I attempt to use the software, and offered a free trial for a professional voice clone, however one signed up it required me to pay in order to try what was offered as free. I figured I would try it anyways, paid for the software, tried it out. The voices do not offer good emotional quality and sounded extremely robotic. Customer service did offer me a full refund once I explain the situation and how it would not work for my use case. I wish to see further reiterations of this, it has potential, it’s just not there yet.
