Chemical Dependency Counselor
A Chemical Dependency Counselor is responsible for helping individuals with substance abuse problems overcome their addiction. They assess clients’ situations, develop treatment plans, and provide counseling services.
They may also facilitate group therapy sessions, provide education on addiction prevention, and assist with aftercare planning. A successful candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be non-judgmental, empathetic, and committed to helping clients achieve sobriety.
